Kent graduated from Southern Illinois University and brings decades of experience to Physiofitness Associates and the PGA and Champion Tours.   Kent launched his athletic training career in 1967 and spent 36 years in professional baseball.  He worked for the New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers and his last 23 years as the Head Athletic Trainer of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  During this tenure he earned many honors including selection as the All Star Athletic Trainer in the National League in 1990, 1994 and 2002. Kent was also selected as the Athletic Trainer for the 1996 Major League All Star Tour of Japan and was named 2002 Major League Athletic Trainer of the Year.  Kent now brings his knowledge and experience into the golf profession where he works with professional golf athletes helping to enhance their overall performance.  Kent travels with the PGA and Champion Tours while balancing his time at home.  At home, he currently acts as the Manager of the Concussion Management Program for all Minor League Baseball Umpires while continuing to stay current in his own profession.
